The Tustin Community Foundation directs charitable funds to the real and immediate needs and interests of OUR community. As a direct result of your involvement, the Foundation has:
Hosts the annual Superheroes of Tustin Community Volunteer Recognition Luncheon to allow local non-profits to honor their special volunteers.
Hosts the annual Pancake Breakfast at the City of Tustin’s Egg Hunt.
Promotes the events and activities of nonprofits and schools through the Community Calendar located on the Foundation’s website and created "Volunteer in Tustin" to connect volunteers with causes they care about
Conducts an annual Community Needs Assessment to help determine the ever-changing needs in the greater Tustin area
Hosts the annual Tustin Mayor’s Thanksgiving Breakfast where local citizens and community leaders come together to hear a message of hope and thanksgiving. Speakers have included Dave Carey, an inspiring Vietnam War POW, Ron Hoesterey, former Tustin Mayor, author and founder of "The Greater Journey" and US Olympian Dwight Stones.
Supports arts in our community including raising funds for a permanent and enduring art wall in Tustin’s Citrus Ranch Park.
Sponsors no-cost Disaster Preparedness Training Classes in tandem with the Tustin Police Department and Orange County Fire Authority and organized low cost CPR/AED and First Aid Classes for residents.
Hosted free Teen Safe Driving Awareness Seminars for teens and their parents.
Kicked off a LIVEgreen program to raise environmental awareness in the community with discussions and activities on relevant eco-topics and monthly green tips in the Foundation’s newsletter.
