Jim went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 27, 2018 at the age of 80 after a short illness.

He was born and raised in Cleveland, OH, and spent five years in Schenectady, NY before moving to Orange County where he lived for 42 years. Jim enjoyed a successful career as a funeral director and also a marriage and family counselor for over fifty years.

Jim was a member of the Masonic lodge for nearly 60 years. He was active in many community organizations including the Tustin Chamber of Commerce, where he was honored as Tustin Man of the Year in 1990; member of the Tustin Rotary Club; past scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 33 and past president and current member of the Saddleback Kiwanis Club. He also volunteered as an ombudsman for the care of seniors and was an active member of Geneva Presbyterian Church.

During retirement he loved cruising with Joan and playing golf with his many friends in Laguna Woods. He is survived by his lovely wife of 58 years, Joan; son Kevin and daughter-in-law Kathy of Frisco, TX, grandchildren Megan, Matthew, and Eric; and son Chris and daughter-in-law Lisa of Redlands, CA.

He was a great man and will be dearly missed by his friends and family.

A memorial service will be held on December 7, 2018 at 11:00 am at Geneva Presbyterian Church, 24301 El Toro Road, Laguna Woods.
