1997 TUSTIN AREA WOMAN OF THE YEAR: Ceil Kirby Morgan

Members of tie Tustin Area Man and Woman of the Year Con.mittee Saturday night bestowed the 1997 honors on two active Tustin residents, Ceil Kirby and David Bryant. They were awarded at the 41st c.nnual Tustin Chamber of Commerce installation dinnerdance held at The Revere House. Kirby, 59, has served in a variety of capacities in the Tustin Chamber of Commerce including chairman of last year’s 40th anniversary party at Elizabeth Howard’s Curtain Call Dinner Theatre, member of the Business Expo Committee, the board of directors, chairman of the mixer committee, member of the Tiller Days Pancake Breakfast Committee and sponsor of all chamber activities. In Tustin Women in Chamber of Commerce, she has served on several board positions, the garage sale committee, Holiday Faire committee, fashion show committee, Concerts in the Park program and others. She has been a member of the Tustin High School Band Booster Club, Foothill and Tustin high Grad Nites donor and sponsor of the Tustin Baseball Boosters, Tustin High year book and Tustin High Music and Pageantry Organization. Ceil is also an office volunteer at the Tustin Historical Society and a sponsor of the Police Department’s Santa Cop program, St. Cecliia School, California Handicapped Skiers, Ettie Lee Homes for Youth, Laurel House and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Tustin. She also is on the board of directors of the choir at Aldersgate United Methodist Church. She is a volunteer at St. Joseph Hospital and a 16-year member of the Salvation Army.
